Fees, refunds and transfers
Last updated 3 September 2026
This page describes what the system actually does. It has not been reviewed by counsel — have it checked before launch.
What the fee covers
The fee shown on a course page is the whole fee, GST-inclusive at 18%. It covers the syllabus, the teaching, and the certificate if you earn one. Nothing is added at checkout.
Courses above ₹5,000 can be paid in up to 3 instalments — the first at enrolment, the rest monthly. Access continues while the plan is up to date.
Refunds
A fee is refundable within 7 days of enrolling, in full, provided the course has not been substantially consumed. Refunds go to your Ask Astro wallet, where they can be spent on any of the three services or withdrawn under the wallet's own terms.
After that window we do not refund as a matter of course, because the seat or the access has already been given. If something has genuinely gone wrong — a batch you could not attend for a reason you told us about, a teacher change, a course that was not what its page described — write to us. Those are decided by a person, not a rule.
If a batch seat is involved
Cancelling an in-person enrolment releases the seat immediately, so it can go to whoever is waiting. That is why we ask you to cancel as soon as you know, rather than simply not turning up.
Unpaid enrolments
Enrolling claims your seat before payment, so that the last place in a classroom cannot be sold twice. The consequence is that an abandoned payment cannot hold a seat forever: an unpaid enrolment is released after 30 minutes, along with its seat, and nothing is charged. The clock runs from your last payment attempt, so you will not be cancelled while a payment is in flight.
Transfers
You can move to a later batch of the same course if it has room — ask the office. Transferring to a different course is treated as a cancellation and a fresh enrolment, so the refund rules above apply to the first one.
If we cancel
If Venmar cancels a batch, every enrolment on it is refunded in full regardless of when it was made. We will offer the next batch first, but the choice is yours.
Certificates
A certificate is earned by meeting the course's threshold, not by paying the fee. A refunded or cancelled enrolment does not carry one, and a certificate already issued against an enrolment that is later refunded is withdrawn — its number will report as withdrawn at our verification page.
Contact
Refund questions go to courses@venmer.org or through the contact form, which raises a tracked ticket.
